Dead Ringer book launch event – in pictures
Friday 28 February saw the official launch of Dead Ringer at Foyles in Bristol. Here’s some pictures and notes from the big night.
I started off with a little speech and a reading of the first chapter of Dead Ringer. As you can see, there were many #faces during the reading…
I missed my calling as an actor! …No, wait, I really didn’t.
The bookshop was packed. Standing room only. Er, apart from those seats in the front row, which people were too awkward to sit in. Don’t worry, I get it.
Next came the Q&A. My friend Anita was the perfect host and interviewer for the evening. (Check out her YouTube channel Word Cortex, which has great videos on public speaking and communication.)

Can’t have a book launch without a cake!
Book-signing madness. Form an orderly queue now!
All in all, it was an excellent evening. We managed to sell out all 30 copies of Dead Ringer that Foyles had in stock, but don’t worry, more are on their way…
(Big thank you to Dom for his outstanding photography.)
